Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7170 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ ثنا قَزَعَةُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جُرْجَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ ظَلَمَ شِبْرًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ طُوِّقَهُ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Cover the vessels, tie the waterskins, close the doors, and extinguish the lamps, for the Shaytan does not open a tied waterskin, does not open a closed door, and does not uncover a covered vessel.'
