Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7150 حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ النَّسَائِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ قَالُوا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَأَبْصَرَ رَجُلًا يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»
English Translation
Shaddad ibn Aws said to a man who was performing Hajj: 'When you come to a dead land (empty land between towns), raise your voice with the talbiyah, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: There is no Muslim who performs the talbiyah except that whatever is to his right and left — stones, trees, and earth — also performs the talbiyah with him, to the end of the earth in both directions.'
