Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7085 وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا فِي مُقَدَّمِ الصُّفُوفِ وَيَقُولُ «هُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِالصَّلَاةِ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ وَالسُّفَهَاءِ وَيَأْتَمُّ بِهِمْ مَنْ وَرَاءَهُمْ وَلَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْأَعْرَابُ قُدَّامَهُمْ لَا يَدْرُونَ كَيْفَ الصَّلَاةُ»
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The prayer offered by two together is better before Allah than one praying alone, and the prayer of three is better than two, and the more they are, the more beloved it is to Allah.'
