Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:687 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا هِشَامٌ ثنا قَتَادَةُ أَنَّ أَنَسًا دَفَنَ ابْنًا لَهُ فَقَالَ «§اللهُمَّ جَافِ الْأَرْضَ عَنْ جَنْبِهِ وَافْتَحْ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ لِرُوحِهِ وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ»
English Translation
Qatadah narrated that Anas buried a son of his and said: "O Allah, make the earth spacious for his side, open the gates of heaven for his soul, and replace his dwelling with one better than his."
