Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7011 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا دُحَيْمٌ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ حَدَّثَنِي خُبَيْبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ «نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نُوَاصِلَ فِي شَهْرِ الصَّوْمِ وَكَرِهَهُ وَلَيْسَ بِعَزْمَةٍ»
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'No one should be whipped more than ten lashes except in the case of one of the prescribed punishments of Allah.'
