Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:6856 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ قَوْمٌ مِمَّنْ كَانَ مَعِي فَإِذَا رَفَعُوا إِلَيَّ رَأْسَهُمُ اخْتُلِجُوا دُونِي فَأَقُولُ رَبِّي أَصْحَابِي أَصْحَابِي؟ فَيُقَالُ إِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Some people who were with me will come to my Pool (Hawd), but when they raise their heads to me, they will be snatched away. I will say: O Lord, my companions, my companions! It will be said: You do not know what they innovated after you.'
