English Translation
Sabrah ibn Ma'bad al-Juhani narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) permitted mut'ah marriage (temporary marriage). He said: "So I went with a companion of mine from Banu Sulaym and we offered ourselves to women. I was more handsome, but my companion was closer to being ugly. Each of us had a cloak. My companion's cloak was newer, while mine was worn. The woman of the lower one looked at my companion and said: 'What is wrong with this one?' His companion said: 'His cloak is newer than this one's cloak.' She said: 'His cloak and his cloak are fine.' So I married her and stayed with her. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever has a woman in mut'ah, let him release her.'"
