Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:6357a حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ زَبْرِيقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا هَانِئُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ قَالَ ك��نْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «يُوحَى إِلَيَّ أَنِّي مَقْبُوضٌ غَيْرُ مُلَبَّثٍ وَأَنَّكُمْ مُتَّبِعِيَّ أَفْنَادًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ وَلَا يَزَالُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي نَاسٌ يُقَاتِلُونَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ وَيُزِيغُ اللهُ بِهِمْ قُلُوبَ أَقْوَامٍ وَيَرْزُقُهُمُ اللهُ مِنْهُمْ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ وَحَتَّى يَأْتِيَ وَعَدُ اللهِ»
English Translation
Salamah ibn Nufayl said: "I was sitting with the Prophet (peace be upon him) when he said: 'It has been revealed to me that I shall be taken soon and that you will follow me in groups, some of you striking the necks of others. And there will never cease to be a group from my nation fighting for the truth. Allah will cause the hearts of some peoples to deviate through them, and Allah will provide for them from those (enemies) until the Hour comes and until Allah's promise is fulfilled.'"
