Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5697 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَتِيقُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثنا أُبَيُّ بْنُ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الِاسْتِطَابَةِ فَقَالَ «أَوَلَا يَجِدُ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَحْجَارٍ حَجَرَانِ لَلصَّفْحَتَيْنِ وَحَجَرٌ للمَسْرُبَةِ»
English Translation
Sahl ibn Sa'd narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked about cleansing after relieving oneself (istijmar), and he said: "Can one of you not find three stones? Two for the sides and one for the central area."
