Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5462 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَيْنَ بَنُوكَ؟» قُلْتُ هَا هُمْ أُولَاءِ قَالَ «فَائْتِنِي بِهِمْ» فَأَمَرْتُ أَهْلِي فَأَلْبَسْتُهُمْ قُمُصًا بَيْضَاءَ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ بِهِمْ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُعِيذُهُمْ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالضَّلَالَةِ وَمِنَ الْفَقْرِ الَّذِي يُصِيبُ بَنِي آدَمَ»
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Where are your children?" I said: "Here they are." He said: "Bring them to me." So I had my family dress them in white shirts and brought them to him. He said: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You for them from disbelief, misguidance, and from the poverty that afflicts the children of Adam."
