Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:532 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ثنا عَوْفٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُتَيٍّ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الرَّجُلَ يَتَعَزَّى بِعَزَاءِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَأَعِضُّوهُ وَلَا تُكَنُّوا»
English Translation
Ubayy ibn Ka'b narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When you see a man boasting with the boasts of the pre-Islamic era, tell him to bite his father's private part, and do not use a euphemism."
