Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5210 حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَسُبُّوا الدِّيكَ فَإِنَّهُ يُوقِظُ لِلصَّلَاةِ»
English Translation
Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Were it not that I would burden my community, I would have ordered them to delay the 'Isha prayer and to use the tooth-stick (siwak) with every prayer."
