Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4604 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ ثنا سَلْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجَرْمِيُّ عَنْ سَوَادَةَ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَأَبِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ لَنَا بِذَوْدَيْنِ وَقَالَ «مُرْ بَيْتَكَ فَلْيُقَلِّمُوا أظَافِيرَهُمْ لَا يَعْقِرُوا بِهَا ضُرُوعَ مَوَاشِيهِمْ إِذَا حَلَبُوا»
English Translation
Sawadah ibn al-Rabi' said: My father and I went to the Prophet (peace be upon him). He gave us two groups of camels and said: "Tell your household to trim their nails so that they do not injure the udders of their livestock when they milk."
