Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4107 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نُبَاتَةَ الرَّازِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْخَرَّازُ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي قَيْسٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَشْوَعَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ تُوُفِّيَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا كَانَ بِهِ الْبَطْنُ فَبَكَّرْنَا بِهِ فَأَتَيْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ وَخَالِدُ بْنُ عُرْفُطَةَ فَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُؤْذِنَنَا بِصَاحِبِكُمْ؟ قُلْتُ كَانَ بِهِ الْبَطْنُ فَبَكَّرْنَا بِهِ فَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يُعَذَّبُ فِي الْقَبْرِ صَاحِبُ الْبَطْنِ» أَمَا تَشْهَدُ يَا خَالِدُ؟ قَالَ بَلَى
English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Yasar al-Juhani reported: "A man from among us who had a stomach ailment died. We hastened with his burial. I went to the mosque and found Sulayman ibn Surad and Khalid ibn 'Urfutah. Sulayman said: 'What prevented you from informing us about your companion?' I said: 'He had a stomach ailment, so we hastened with him.' Sulayman ibn Surad said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: The one who dies of a stomach ailment will not be punished in the grave. Do you testify to that, O Khalid?' He said: 'Yes.'"
