Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:393 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ كُلْثُومٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ لِأُنَاسٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ فَإِذَا هُوَ مُقَنِّعٌ رَأْسَهُ بِبُرْدٍ لَهُ مَعَافِرِيٍّ فَكَشَفَ الْقِنَاعَ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ»
English Translation
Sa'd narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Charity does not decrease wealth. Allah does not increase a servant through forgiveness except in honor. And no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises him.'
