English Translation
Harb ibn al-Harith said: 'I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the minbar on Friday saying: We have ordered wars (dyes) and needles for the women. As for the wars (dye), it came to them from Yemen, and as for the needles, they were taken from some of the People of the Covenant (Ahl al-Dhimmah) from what they owed of the jizya.' I said to al-Rabi' - or it was said to him - did al-Rabi' hear it from Harb? He said: Yes.
