Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3562 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي حَيَّةُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا شَيْءَ فِي الْهَامِ وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَأَصْدَقُ الطَّيْرِ الْفَأْلُ»
English Translation
Habis narrated through his son Hayyah ibn Habis al-Tamimi that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: 'There is nothing in the owl (superstition), the evil eye is real, and the most truthful of omens is the good omen (fa'l).'
