Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3558 حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الْأَغَرِّ النَّهْشَلِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ النَّهْشَلِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ بِإِبِلٍ فَقَالَ «يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مُرْ أَهْلَ الْوَادِي أَنْ يُعِينُونِي ويُحْسِنُوا مُخَالَطَتِي فَأَمَرَهُمْ فَقَامُوا مَعَهُ فَأَحْسَنُوا مُخَالَطَتَهُ ثُمَّ دَعَاهُ فَمَسَحَ يَدَهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ وَدَعَا لَهُ»
English Translation
Husayn ibn Aws narrated that he came to Madinah with camels and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, order the people of the valley to help me and treat me well in their dealings.' So he ordered them, and they stood with him and treated him well. Then he called him, wiped his hand over his face, and prayed for him.
