Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3414 حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّائِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «اجْتَمِعُوا أُصَلِّي بِكُمْ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ» فَاجْتَمَعُوا فَقَالَ أَفِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟ قَالُوا لَا إِلَّا ابْنَ أُخْتٍ لَنَا قَالَ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ «فَدَعَا بِجَفْنَةٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْهَا فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَظَهْرِ قَدَمَيْهِ وَتَقَدَّمَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ الظُّهْرَ فَقَرَأَ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ يُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَلِيهِ»
English Translation
Narrated Abu Malik al-Ash'ari: He said, 'Gather so I may pray with you the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).' They gathered, and he asked, 'Is anyone among you from other than yourselves?' They said, 'No, except a nephew of ours.' He said, 'The nephew of a people is one of them.' He called for a basin, performed ablution from it: rinsed his mouth and nose, washed his face three times and his hands three times, wiped his head and the tops of his feet. He stepped forward and led them in Dhuhr prayer, reciting al-Fatihah and letting those near him hear.
