English Translation
Narrated Abu Malik al-Ash'ari: He said to his people, 'Gather so I may pray with you the prayer of the Prophet (peace be upon him).' When they gathered, he asked, 'Is there anyone among you from other than yourselves?' They said, 'No, except a nephew of ours.' He said, 'The nephew of a people is one of them.' He called for a basin of water, washed his hands, rinsed his mouth and nose, washed his face three times and his forearms three times, wiped his head, and washed his feet. Then he led them in the Dhuhr prayer, making twenty-two takbirs, saying takbir when prostrating and when raising his head from prostration. He recited al-Fatihah in the first two rak'ahs and let those near him hear.
