Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2399 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ فَقَالَ «ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ لِلْمُسَافِرِ وَيَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلْمُقِيمِ»
English Translation
Jarir ibn 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever establishes a good practice in Islam will have its reward and the reward of those who act upon it after him, without diminishing anything from their rewards. And whoever establishes a bad practice in Islam bears its burden and the burden of those who act upon it after him, without diminishing anything from their burdens."
