Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2188 حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْمُطَرِّزُ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ جَعْدَةَ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ ثُمَّ الْآخَرُونَ أَرْذَلُ»
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Close the doors, tie the water-skins, cover the vessels, and extinguish the lamps, for Satan does not open a closed door, untie a water-skin, or uncover a vessel."
