Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2032 حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ثنا نَاصِحٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَأَنْ يُؤَدِّبَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَدَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ بِنِصْفِ صَاعٍ عَلَى مَسَاكِينَ»
English Translation
Jabir ibn Samurah said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) giving the sermon while standing, then he sat down, then he stood and gave the second sermon."
