Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1914 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي الصَّلَوَاتِ كَنَحْوٍ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُمُ الَّتِي تُصَلُّونَ الْيَوْمَ وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ يُخَفِّفُ كَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ أَخَفَّ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُمْ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ الْوَاقِعَةَ وَنَحْوَهَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ»
English Translation
Jabir ibn Samurah said: "The grey hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was at the front of his head and in his beard. When he applied oil, it was not visible, but when he did not, it was visible."
