Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1733 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَخْرَمُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ بَهْرَامَ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْوَاقِدِيُّ قَالَ مَاتَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَسَبْعِينَ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي خَارِجَةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ بُرْدًا وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ أَبَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ وَهُوَ وَالِي الْمَدِينَةِ وَمَاتَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعٍ وَتِسْعِينَ وَكَانَ يُكْنَى أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ وَكَانَ قَدْ ذَهَبَ بَصَرُهُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ»
English Translation
Juwairiyah said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) came out from me in the morning when he prayed Fajr, and she was in her place of prayer. He returned at mid-morning and said: "You are still as you were?" She said: "Yes." He said: "I said after you four words three times — if they were weighed against what you said today, they would outweigh them: 'Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him, by the number of His creation, by His own pleasure, by the weight of His Throne, and by the extent of His words.'"
