Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1627 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا هَيَّاجُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ «إِنِّي لَأَقْرَبُكُمْ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ خَرَجَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا كَهَيْئَةِ مَا أَتْرُكُهُ فِيهَا وَإِنِّي وَاللهِ مَا أَحْدَثْتُ بَعْدَهُ شَيْئًا وَمَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ تَشَبَّثَ مِنْهَا بِشَيْءٍ»
English Translation
Abu Dharr said: "I am the closest of you to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on the Day of Resurrection. He left this world in the same state as I shall leave it. By Allah, I have not introduced anything new after him, and there is none among you except that he has clung to something of this world."
