Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1595 حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنِي بَعْضُ إِخْوَتِي عَنْ أَبِي عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ أَنَّهُ أَتَى الْمَدِينَةَ فِي فِدَاءٍ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُشْرِكٌ فَدَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ فَقَرَأَ «بِالطُّورِ» فَكَأَنَّمَا صَدَعَ قَلْبِي قِرَاءَةُ الْقُرْآنِ
English Translation
Narrated Jubayr ibn Mut'im: He came to Madinah to ransom (prisoners) while he was still a polytheist at that time. He entered the mosque while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was praying Maghrib. He recited (Surah) al-Tur, and it was as if his heart was split open by the recitation of the Quran.
