Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1502 حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ الْعُمَانِيُّ ثنا عُرْوَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الرَّبْعِيِّ الْمِصْرِيِّ ثنا هُشَيْمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ أَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي بِأَصْحَابِهِ الْعِشَاءَ أَوِ الْمَغْرِبَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ وَقَدْ خَرَجَ صَوْتُهُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ {إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌ مَا لَهُ مِنْ دَافِعٍ} فَكَأَنَّمَا صُدِعَ عَنْ قَلْبِي
English Translation
Jubayr ibn Mut'im said: I came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was praying the 'Isha or Maghrib prayer with his companions, and I heard him reciting — his voice carrying out of the mosque — "Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur. Of it there is no preventer" (52:7-8). It was as though my heart was cracked open.
