Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1427 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا ذُكِرَ أَصْحَابِي فَأَمْسِكُوا وَإِذَا ذُكِرَتِ النُّجُومُ فَأَمْسِكُوا وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ الْقَدَرُ فَأَمْسِكُوا»
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When my Companions are mentioned, withhold (your tongues). When the stars are mentioned, withhold. And when predestination is mentioned, withhold."
