Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12475 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُسَاوِرٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ ثنا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ تَوَلَّى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ»
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father, or affiliates himself with someone other than his masters (who freed him), upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people.'
