Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12186 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا جَنَازَةُ بْنُ سَلْمٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ «أُوحِيَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً فَلَبِثَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ بِمَكَّةَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً ثُمَّ هَاجَرَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَكَانَ بِهَا عَشْرًا فَتُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas said: "Revelation came to the Messenger of Allah ♂ when he was forty years old. He remained in Makkah for thirteen years after that, then he migrated to Madinah. He stayed there for ten years, and the Messenger of Allah ♂ passed away at the age of sixty-three."
