English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated regarding the verse {Peace be upon the family of Yasin}. It is said that this refers to Ilyas (Elijah) mentioned previously, and it is said that it refers to him and those who believed with him, grouped together with him as in the expression 'the Muhallabun' for al-Muhallab and his people. According to the reading 'Aal Yasin' with elongation, it means his family, referring to Ilyas as well.
