Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12149 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ فَقَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوِ الرَّابِعَةِ «وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah ♂ said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." A man said: "And those who trim their hair?" He said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." The man said: "And those who trim their hair?" Then on the third or fourth time, he said: "And those who trim their hair."
