Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12093 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَمِّي الْقَاسِمُ ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «خَطَبَ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ فَجَعَلَتْ أَمَرَهَا إِلَى الْعَبَّاسِ فَزَوَّجَهَا إِيَّاهُ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) proposed to Maymunah bint al-Harith, and she delegated her affair to al-Abbas. So al-Abbas married her to him.
