Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12065 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ الْجَعْدٍ ثنا قَتَادَةُ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عُتَيْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ فَزَعَمَ أَنَّهُ وَقَعَ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِدِينَارٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَبِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that a man came to the Prophet of Allah and claimed he had intercourse with his wife while she was menstruating. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him to give a dinar in charity, and if he could not find that, then half a dinar.
