English Translation
Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out to Hunayn in Ramadan while the people differed — some fasting, some not. When he mounted his riding animal, he called for a vessel of milk or water and drank it. Then he placed it on his riding animal. The people saw him, and those who were not fasting said to those who were fasting: 'Break your fast.'
