English Translation
Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent to a village at a distance of four farsakhs or two farsakhs on the Day of Ashura: 'Whoever has not eaten, let him complete his fast; and whoever has eaten, let him not eat for the rest of his day.'
