Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11641 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ {وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الرُّؤْيَا الَّتِي أَرَيْنَاكَ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِلنَّاسِ} قَالَ «هِيَ رُؤْيَا رَآهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ وَلَيْسَتْ بِرُؤْيَا مَنَامٍ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated regarding the verse: 'And We made the vision which We showed you only a trial for the people.' He said: 'It was a vision the Prophet (peace be upon him) saw on the night of the Night Journey, and it was not a dream during sleep.'
