Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11613 حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْوَكِيعِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ أَبَانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كُسِفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ «فَقَامَ مَلِيًّا ثُمَّ رَكَعَ مَلِيًّا ثُمَّ قَامَ مَلِيًّا ثُمَّ رَكَعَ مَلِيًّا ثُمَّ سَجَدَ ثُمَّ أَعَادَ مِثْلَهَا»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that the sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He stood for a long time, then bowed for a long time, then stood for a long time, then bowed for a long time, then prostrated. Then he repeated the same.
