Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11462 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْغَلَابِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَدَنِيُّ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَدْخُلِ الْحَمَّامَ إِلَّا بِمِئْزَرٍ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَشْرَبِ الْخَمْرَ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَجْلِسْ عَلَى مَائِدَةٍ يُشْرَبُ عَلَيْهَا الْخَمْرُ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَخْلُوَنَّ بِامْرَأَةٍ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا مَحْرَمٌ»
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not enter the bathhouse except wearing a waist-wrap. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not drink wine. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not sit at a table where wine is being served. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not be alone with a woman who is not his mahram (close relative).'
