English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) delayed the prayer one night until much of the night had passed. Then Umar came out and called: 'The prayer, O Messenger of Allah! The women and children have gone to sleep.' He came out with water dripping from the side of his head, wiping it away, and said: 'This is indeed the time, were it not that I would make it difficult for my Ummah.'
