Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11362 حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ ثنا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخٍ ثنا نَافِعٌ أَبُو هُرْمُزٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «يُكَبِّرُ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ سَبْعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ وَعَلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ خَمْسَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ ثُمَّ كَانَ آخِرُ صَلَاتِهِ أَرْبَعُ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ حَتَّى خَرَجَ منَ الدُّنْيَا»
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say seven takbirs over the people of Badr (in their funeral prayers), and five takbirs over the Banu Hashim. Then his last practice was four takbirs until he departed from this world.
