English Translation
Ibn Abbas reported that a Bedouin came to him and asked for a drink, and he was given nabidh (date drink). He said: Why do your brothers serve honey and milk while you serve nabidh? He said: It is not out of stinginess on our part, but the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) asked for a drink and we gave him nabidh. He said: 'You have done well and done beautifully. Continue doing so.'
