Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11222 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ثنا مَسْلَمَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى بِالْبَاكُورَةِ مِنَ الثِّمَارِ وَضَعَهُ عَلَى عَيْنَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ كَمَا أَطْعَمَتْنَا أَوَّلَهُ فَأَطْعِمْنَا آخِرَهُ» ثُمَّ يَأْمُرُ بِهِ لِلْمَوْلُودِ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ
English Translation
Ibn Abbas said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was brought the first fruits of the season, he would place them on his eyes and then say: 'O Allah, just as You have fed us the first of it, feed us the last of it.' Then he would give it to the youngest child among his family.
