Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11132 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ أنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ «طَافَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَمَلَ الثَّلَاثَ الْأُولَى لِيُرِي الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَنَّ بِهِ وَبِأَصْحَابِهِ قُوَّةً وَمَشَى الْأَرْبَعَ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) circumambulated the House and performed raml (jogging) during the first three circuits to show the polytheists that he and his Companions had strength, and he walked during the remaining four.
