English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) only made it an Umrah because they arrived in Makkah four nights before Arafah. He disliked that the Muslims would stay four nights without performing tawaf around the House, and he knew that if they performed tawaf, they would come out of ihram except for those who had brought a sacrificial animal. So he said: 'It is an Umrah that we have performed as Tamattu,' three times. Then: 'Umrah has entered into Hajj until the Day of Judgment.'
