Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10704 حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُضَرَ ثنا أَبِي عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَتَصَدَّقُ بِصَدَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يَعُودُ فِيهَا كَالَّذِي يَقِيءُ ثُمَّ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ»
English Translation
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The example of the one who gives charity and then takes it back is like one who vomits and then eats from it.'
