English Translation
It was reported that Ibn Abbas used to pick up a single seed from a pomegranate and eat it. He was asked: "O Ibn Abbas, why do you do this?" He said: "I was informed that there is no pomegranate on earth that is pollinated except with a seed from the pomegranates of Paradise. Perhaps this is that one."
