Mihrān > Ibn ʿAbbās ؓ Mā > Lammā Baʿath Allāh ʿAz And Jal Mūsá ʿAlayh al-Salām Waʾanzal ʿAlayh al-Tawrāh > Allāhum Innak Rab ʿAẓīm Walaw Shiʾt > Tuṭāʿ Liʾuṭiʿt Walaw Shiʾt > Lā Tuʿṣá Mā ʿUṣīt Waʾant Tuḥib حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْقَتَّاتِ عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓماُ قَالَ
English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: [The hadith about when Allah sent Musa (peace be upon him) and revealed the Torah to him; Musa said: 'O Allah, You are a great Lord. Had You willed to be obeyed, You would have been obeyed, and had You willed that You not be disobeyed, You would not have been disobeyed, yet You love...' — the text is fragmentary].
