Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10544 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا طَاهِرُ بْنُ أَبِي أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَوَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ إِلَّا وَبَيْنَهُمَا سِتْرٌ مِنَ اللهِ فَإِذَا قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ هُجْرًا هَتَكَ سِتْرَهُ وَإِذَا قَالَ يَا كَافِرُ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ أَحَدُهُمَا
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Between any two Muslims there is a curtain from Allah. When one of them says something offensive to the other, the curtain is torn. And when one says to the other 'O disbeliever,' then one of them has indeed disbelieved."
